A Picture a Day -- Week 1

malicat did this meme last year, and I thought it was a cool idea at the time. I decided to swipe it for 2009. I wonder if I can make it through the whole year...

By the way, I'm not by any stretch of the imagination a photographer, so no comments from the peanut gallery. And by peanut gallery, I mean doomsey, who is mister know-it-all and tells me, "that's a bad picture," every time he sees one of my photos. Really, I don't care...



January 1st:



almeda taught me how to crochet during the party at my in-law's house on New Year's Day. I learned three different kinds of stitches and how to make granny squares. Thanks almeda! I really appreciated it!

January 2nd:



doomsey and I went to the Art Institute on Friday. They had a really cool exhibit on European tapestries that closed on January 4th. I was really intrigued by the display showing how tapestries were made and restored at the end of the exhibit.

January 3rd:



This is from one of my two year old niece's books. The title of it is "My First Numbers Book." I had doomsey take this picture for me because I wanted a good copy of it. We're talking about submitting it to fail blog with the title, "My First Fail."

January 4th:



This is the book that I'm currently reading. I couldn't think up of any other pictures for today because doomsey and I didn't do much. I spent most of this afternoon getting work done.

You're totally right. This meme isn't about good or bad pictures. I love seeing personal pictures on my flist ♥
I ordered a new cam last week and I hope it'll arrive this week so I can start too =)
