A Picture a Day -- Week 8

Monday, February 16th:
I finished knitting my beret on Monday night. I based it off of a pattern I found in Charmed Knits. I still have to block both that and the scarf.
Tuesday, February 17th:
I tried to take a night picture of one of the street lamps outside, but I failed because the camera I was using was too slow. So...you get a picture of me teasing my cat instead.
Wednesday, February 18th:
For lunch, I had quesadillas stuffed with "surprise pico de gallo."
Thursday, February 19th:
This is a sage plant from my window. Notice all the dead leaves. I've been slowly killing the poor thing. It seems to be much happier now that I'm watering it once a day. Over the winter, I was watering it only every other day, but lately, I don't think it's been very happy about that.
Friday, February 20th:
I go out to take pictures in the late afternoon because I think the color of the setting sun is pretty. I like what it does to the branches of the tree in this photo.
Saturday, February 21st:
We got more snow on Saturday. So...have a picture of snow on a dried out hydrangeas.

doomsey and I went to a birthday party for our three year old nephew. He really likes the movie, Cars.
Yesterday evening,doomsey told me that I could use his fancy Nikon to take my daily pictures because, with all the hours he's been working, he hasn't had time to use it. In fact, he says that he hasn't been able to go through pictures he's taken in the past year and a half. So, expect some higher quality pictures starting next week.
Oh...this afternoon, I went to take pictures and managed to miss out on a hawk perching on a tree across the street from my house. By the time I figured out how to zoom in, it flew away. Oh well. On the bright side, I'm hoping to get some nice bird pictures this spring and summer because the Nikon is much faster than what I've been using.
