Monday, June 15th:

I picked up this little trinket in Miyajima, Japan. Miyajima is a gorgeous island not far from Hiroshima. It's famous for a torii that sits in the middle of the bay.
For those of you that do not know, this is what a torii looks like:

Tuesday, June 16th:

It had been raining all day so I took this picture from my living room window.
Wednesday, June 17th:

Wednesday was the day that the new update for the iPhone came out. Yay cut and paste!
Thursday, June 18th:

My neighbor is a gardening geek. He has the most beautiful flowers.
Friday, June 19th:

I took this picture right before a big thunderstorm rolled in. In fact, the reason I was out there taking pictures was because it was looking almost tornadic. I'm tempted to name this shot "Thunderbird."
Saturday, June 20th:

This is my in-laws' German Shepherd, Lucy. She's a sweet dog, but she's had a ton of health problems. Lucy used to be owned by another family that horribly neglected her. When she was brought in to the vet's office at six months of age, she looked downright skeletal. They diagnosed her with diabetes, and the father refused to have her treated. He said that he was going to take her home to die, and then get another dog. How charitable!

Sunday, June 21st:

This is my niece, Emma. When I took this, she was "helping" me take pictures. I would line up a shot of someone, and she would press the button. She got a real kick out of it too. Since she seemed to be amused by the flash, I pointed the camera at her and took a picture. I didn't even bother to line it up so I'm surprised it turned out so well. Of course, it didn't hurt that she was enjoying herself.
