A Picture a Day -- Week 41

Monday, October 5th:



Have a picture of Cosette loving on my computer. Originally, she was sitting behind my computer and peeking out at me, but she moved before I was able to grab the camera and take the shot. It's a shame because she looked really cute doing that.


Tuesday, October 6th:



And leaves are starting to fall. Going to have to pick them up soon.


Wednesday, October 7th:



We live close to the airport so we sometimes get low-flying planes. It's not so bad in our neighborhood, but about a mile or so north of us where I go walking, it's very obnoxious.



I also liked how the leaves were changing on this tree; they were beautiful shades of yellow and red.


Thursday, October 8th:



Some vegetables I pulled in from my garden. I don't think the green tomatoes are going to be any good though.


Friday, October 9th:



emygination adopted a new kitten named Jackson about a week ago. What an adorable cat! I've always liked red tabbies.


Saturday, October 10th:



On Saturday, I went with doomsey and family to Simhat Torah services. I asked for and got permission to take pictures. Here's one of doomsey holding the Torah and looking sheepish because he doesn't dance. He got roped into it by his father, who is also in the picture. He's a gabbai at the temple, and next year he is going to be temple president. My sister-in-law and one of my nephews is also in the picture.


Sunday, October 11th:



On Sunday, doomsey and I went to my parents' house to celebrate both my dad's and my brother-in-laws's birthdays. In the evening, I took pictures of my nieces. At one point, I started taking pictures so the flash would go off. That always amuses them to no end. In the process, I got this photo of Cassie. Her expression is adorable.

That evening, I let my two-and-a-half year old niece play with koi pond and scoops on my iPhone. My sister was a bit nervous that she would break it, but she was careful with it. You just had to supervise her and remind her not to drop it / smash it into the ground. Now, she likes my iPhone and asks to play with it. I think I have created a monster!
