Tuesday, October 13th:

"Now you can't have any of my pot pie." Bonus points if you know who said that and in what show.
Wednesday, October 14th:

One of the plants in my front yard was turning a very pretty color this week.
Thursday, October 15th:

The water main on our street broke for the second time on Thursday afternoon. The first time it broke was on Tuesday. Once again, they had to turn off our water and fix it. Since the water main broke while I was doing laundry and I needed the clothes that were in the washer for work the next day, I had to fish my clothes out of the washer and finish washing them at my in-laws' house. Then, I went back home and dried them. The whole ordeal was a major pain in the ass.
Did I mention how heavy a basket of sopping wet clothes is? I was *wiped* by they time I got them upstairs and then into my car.
It turns out that there were two or three different water main breaks that day. Another water main broke in the park about half a mile or so north of us. It was a huge break that flooded most of the park.
Friday, October 16th:

This is a little souvenir my sister bought for me during her trip to Italy and Greece. I hear that Positano, Italy is very beautiful.
Saturday, October 17th:

My ash tree turns a very beautiful shade of yellow before the leaves drop. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to capture it on Satuday because it was too cloudy.

Yes! I finally caught her doing this! After having my seat swiped by the cat many many many times whenever I got up to do something, I figured that putting my computer there would deter her. Nope. Now she likes to curl up behind the computer and peek up at me from behind the screen. Silly cat.
Sunday, October 18th:

The rosemary plant I almost succeeded in killing this spring. I put it outside this summer, and mostly forgot about it. It is much happier now because it got plenty of sun and rain.
