Monday, November 2nd:

Lately, I've been taking a lot of pictures in the afternoon right before the sun goes down. I like the quality of the light then.

Tuesday, November 3rd:

A sign in front of a run-down old house. It's had a for sale sign on it for the past three years.

Wednesday, November 4th:

A little place I set up to work on NaNoWriMo. Sometimes I sit there, and sometimes, I sit on the couch. And yes...I know that my kitchen and dining room are a mess. I need to clean it.

Thursday, November 5th:

These pictures are taken from Saint James Cal Sag, the oldest Catholic cemetery in the Chicago area. It is also reputedly haunted, although I didn't really get that impression when I was there. It seemed pretty peaceful.

Friday, November 6th:

A rose. Not going to be seeing these too much longer this year...

I thought the silhouette of this tree looked kind of cool.

Saturday, November 7th:

A neighbor's boxer.

Sunday, November 8th:

Berries! So...are they safe to eat?

I love those fiery leaves! Our trees are starting to turn down here in Texas, but it's not approaching that color yet!

The quality of light in your photos here is awesome! It's tricky to get a good photo at dawn or dusk, you have to take the photo from a specific angle for it to be good.

Thanks! I think I just got lucky with those pictures. I don't really know what I'm doing, and sometimes I get good pictures on accident. :)

By the way, I just discovered a cool LJ community called [livejournal.com profile] lj_photophile. I might go through some of my pictures and post over there when I'm done with NaNo.

Also, did you check out my coyote picture from earlier. I was at the cemetery in Cal Sag when I saw him. I was lucky that I had my camera out and ready. I thought it was kind of cool because I rarely see coyotes.

Yes, I commented on it, too. I only see coyotes as road kill in Texas. That was amazing!

It didn't haunted when I was there. It was peaceful and quiet. Now, Bachelor's Grove, on the other hand, had an eerie vibe to it.
