Last night, I had a very Dantesque dream in which, still alive, I managed to descend into Hell with three other people. There were only three rooms or sections in Hell and you had to go through all three of them. If you got scared and turned around halfway, you were toast (both literally and metaphorically).

From the third and final room, I stole a bar of chocolate made by the devil himself and took it back to Earth. My question is this: why did I damn my eternal soul for a bar of chocolate? On the other hand, that was some wicked good chocolate.

Today, cosettemonster was poking at me and begging for some of the chocolate cake that doomsey and I were eating. I let her sniff some of the chocolate frosting from the cake and she made one of those faces she makes when she really doesn't like the smell of something. (The last time she made a disgusted face like that was when I put some pickle juice on her nose. I didn't know at the time that cats really don't like vinegar. The poor thing!) It's a good thing that my cat doesn't take after me in liking chocolate because a) I don't want to share and b) chocolate is bad for cats.

Hmm...part of me wonders if arwenmonster would like chocolate. She's seems to be less picky about food than cosettemonster. When she was a kitten, I once saw her chowing down on some flavored rice that I was going to have for dinner. cosettemonster would never do that. She has her priorities straight. If it's not fish, it's not worth the calories.
