nekosenseiThis weekend has been pretty busy. On Friday, I had physical therapy and afterwards I had to take the cat to the vet. judygs, bmtstandard, and emygination over for dinner, so doomsey and I stopped at Chow to Go and picked up a bunch of food. The neighbor's son was doing a fundraiser for his school, so we bought pie from him and it was delivered this week. We didn't realize, however, that it needed to be baked since both doomsey and I have been so busy lately. So...after dinner...we put the pie in the oven and then went downstairs to watch Ratatouille.
Yesterday,doomsey and I went to the hardware store and then grocery shopping. That evening, we went with his family, J, and A. to see The Cook at the Goodman Theater. That was one damn good play. We had planned to go to a Moroccan place for dinner last night (the name of the place escapes me at the moment), but when we pulled up, we discovered that they were closed. We tried another place, but they were closed too. We ended up at Sabri Nahari, a Pakistani place, instead. As always, the food there was excellent.
I didn't do anything interesting today because I've been working like mad. We're approaching the end of the semester where things get busy busy.
