Not Much to Say
Nov. 28th, 2007 10:45 amYesterday, I took
doomsey's Prius to have its emissions tested. The guy doing the test commented that he was amazed that he could put his foot down all the way on the gas, and that the car wouldn't make any noise. Apparently, the car had decided at that point that it wanted to run on battery power. I still like seeing people's reaction to the Prius when it does something that's out of the norm for them. I'm pretty much used to it since
doomsey and I have owned one for a long time now. On the way out, I added that they were great cars and that they were fun to drive.
This week, I started going for my walks again. I used to walk two to three-and-a-half miles a day, but I stopped doing that when I messed up my hamstring and later my neck. I am told that walking will help with my back (which is probably what's causing the problems with my hamstring and neck). On Sunday I did two miles and I did three miles on Monday. My neck and shoulders were very sore after walking three miles, so yesterday I went back down to two. I think I'm going to slowly try building up from there.
I also managed to get a paper cut under my nail yesterday. Damn...that hurt. And it bled a lot too. That was wonderful. I just had to get a bad cut where a Band-aid won't do any good. Fortunately, I had some Kleenex handy so I shoved a piece of it under my nail and stopped the bleeding with that. Oh...and it's still sore. *grumbles*

Date: 2007-11-28 06:42 pm (UTC)I was playing with the lens pen; it's a handy thing and made it into the camera bag pretty quickly. The rest is sitting on my desk due to laziness :)

Amazon.com likes the multi-boxes. Not sure why.

Date: 2007-11-30 12:13 am (UTC)They aren't that bright, those guys. There was the time that I warned the guy that my four-door Grand Am was a stick shift, even though four-door Grand Ams never are -- we had to order it that way. I even explained this to him. The guy couldn't find the clutch pedal! He came over to me and asked me if I was sure it was a stick. Like I wouldn't know, having driven it over there. Brother!
