Picture a Day -- Week 22 (Also known as, "Hey look! Another post!)

Monday, May 25th:



On Labor Day, doomsey and I had dinner at his parents' house to celebrate Labor Day. This is a picture of emygination, her dog Lucy, and Rebecca, almeda's daughter.


Tuesday, May 26th:



Yay! Lilacs! Unfortunately, they have faded by now. It's a shame because I love being able to smell lilacs in my living room at night. I'd be tempted to plant a bush that bloomed a couple of times a year if the perfume didn't give doomsey a migraine


Wednesday, May 27th:



Yes...I know...you're probably sick of seeing cat pictures. It was rainy on Wednesday, so I decided to take pictures inside. I had taken pictures of the Raku vase we painted several weeks ago, but I thought the cat pictures were more interesting.


Thursday, May 28th:



I was taking pictures of my bird feeder, looked up, and saw a hawk. It didn't hang around long though because it was being harassed by smaller birds.


Friday, May 29th:



I'm assuming that this is a juvenile robin. I opened up my front door to get some air, and he was staring back at me. I ran to doomsey's office to grab the camera, and he was still there when I got back. He sat there looking at me the whole time and didn't seem terribly afraid of me. He'll probably get eaten by something by the end of the summer.

Saturday, May 30th:



On Saturday night, we went to a Rebecca Gilman play called, "The Crowd You're In With," which was about a couple planning on having a baby. They invited their friends and their landlords to a Fourth of July party, and told them about their plans. All hell broke lose. Overall, it was a very good play. Afterward, we had dinner at this restaurant. The food there is phenomenal.

Sunday, May 31st:



I was doing some weeding in my garden on Sunday afternoon when I noticed that I was starting to get strawberries on my strawberry plant. Yay!
